The Mohile Parikh Center launches a new learning initiative in the wider area of continuing education. Conceived by Dr. Prashant Parikh, these courses pursue the Center’s vision to promote learning, introspection, and a spirit of inquiry. In 2009, it will offer six short courses in a variety of fields: philosophy, physics, neuroscience, literature, painting, and film. The central focus of each course is to present the key ideas and concepts of different disciplines in an accessible manner that would interest everyone, specialist and non-specialist, with a desire to broaden and deepen their intellectual horizons.
There are no prerequisites except a readiness to engage with the material and a questioning mind. The courses are open to both students and professionals and registration is via payment of fees at the Center. For more details regarding the concept, course outlines, fees and registration policy, please visit the page link below for these courses on our website.
