CAMPUS

Pursuing its vision to stimulate thinking and deepen intellectual horizons, the Center launched Campus, an initiative in the wider area of continuing education. Conceived by Dr. Prashant Parikh, this idea addresses the need to adopt an attitude of lifelong learning. Starting in 2009, short courses in the arts, humanities, and sciences were introduced that present the key ideas and concepts of different disciplines in an accessible manner. The particular courses offered were in the following fields: philosophy, physics, neuroscience, literature, painting and film. Although these courses deal with diverse domains, their goal is to promote learning and acquaint people with an important area of inquiry so they are better equipped to understand and participate in the many debates taking place at individual and public levels globally.
