Communication Photo Graphique: Art Workshop

November 29 to 30, 1995 | 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm

The two day workshop will be conducted by Gerard Lebet (Art Director from Trio Advertising Agency, Laussan, Switzerland) and Ashwin Gatha (International Corporate/Editorial photographer), based in Switzerland.

Alyque Padamsee and Sudarshan Dheer will also participate in the workshop as guest speakers. The participants will be senior level students from selected art schools and colleges from different parts of India. Various aspects like the role of an art director in advertising, the difference between graphic designer and art director, the role of a photographer through image in communication, in advertising and in corporate identity, how to communicate with photographers, copywriters, clients and designers will be discussed in the workshop. The programme will extend to the whole day and will include, in addition to the practical work, slide shows, films and lectures by experts from affiliated disciplines.
