Through an exploration of the ten different incarnations via dance, performance and clay-modelling, this workshop will bring together Indian mythology, storytelling and visual art. The children will perform with dasavatars with Gowri Rao Mehta and mythological stories will be shared. Some visual examples of the sculptures of Vishnu on ancient Indian temples will be discussed. After this, Parsuram Kumbhar will guide the children to create clay models of the dasavatars through hands-on techniques.
