Friendly Tales in Paper Forms
Facilitator: Nina Sabnani
NGOs: Kotak Educational Foundation, Mumbai Mobile Crèches, Pratham and Smile Foundation
January 23, 2010 |10.00 am to 4.00 pm
M.C. Ghia Hall, Mumbai
The concept of the workshop revolves around storytelling on friendship and its importance in our lives. The children will be shown an animation film after which they will be introduced to a storytelling book called ‘Home’. Based on an exchange of stories and imaginings of home and friendship, they will illustrate their stories about love and sharing through painting, drawing and collage. This relates to the facilitator’s interest in exploring the dynamics between words and images in storytelling.
