This workshop will introduce Environmental Education (EE) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) modules to teachers to apply innovative learning in classroom contexts. This will be followed by a nature trail on EE in the premises of the Conservation Education Centre, brainstorming approaches on EE and ESD, visits to the butterfly garden, kitchen garden and composting pit, and a documentary. Applying these modules through art and other creative modes will be done through various activities to be replicated in classrooms.

The CEC at BNHS develops effective methodology in conservation education for formal and non-formal education sector. The Centre is fully equipped with the tools and education materials required to impart conservation education among its audience.
