Heda Hoda means Idhar -Udhar in Hindi and Here and There in English, it also sends across a message that national borders are political creations and the reality of the common man across the border (India and Pakistan) is one of good-will and friendship and the films points to the possibility of hope and peace amid decades of conflict.
In his debut feature film, director Vinod Ganatra celebrates the triumph of the innocence of youth over the rigid parameters of law that often undermine common sense.
