Hindustan Research Centre Limited: Concept, Design and Execution

Sanjay Mohe, a director at Chandavarkar & Thacker Architects Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, will present one of his designs, the Hindustan Lever Research Centre (1996). A food and research laboratory facility, the design is conceived within a framework of research happening beyond laboratory walls which concentrates on creating conducive interaction spaces for researchers.

Executed in two phases, the complex is built as a series of open courts around existing trees with circulation spaces of varying volumes.
