After establishing himself as a medical practitioner in Ottawa, Canada, over 20 years ago, Harsh Dehejia, who had his early medical education in Bombay, did his Master’s in Arts from the Department of Religion of Carleton University. Following this, he did graduate work in Hindu Philosophy under the guidance of Dr. V. V. Gangal at the Anantacharya Indological Institute in Bombay and completed his Ph.D. in Ancient Indian Culture in 1991. He has a special interest in Aesthetics and is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Religion of Carleton University.
