This film about Claude Monet, the creator of the influential movement, Impressionism, famed for his landscape painting focuses on his impressions of Rouen’s cathedral, Etretat, Saint Lazare in Paris, the Seine Venise and his garden of Giverny and of the surrounding countryside.
“My only virtue is to have painted directly in front of nature while trying to render the impressions made on me by the most fleeting effects,” said Monet.

Alphonse Mucha (Col. 30 mins)

A documentary film about the life and work of Alphonse Mucha – The film explores both the creative development of this great artist and the fateful key moments which determined his life. He was an accomplished muralist, theatre designer, interior decorator and painter, and worked within the stylistic and ideological parameters of the Art Nouveau movement.
