Making the Ideal Observer

Bose Krishnamachari, well-known artist, will talk on some of his important recent images. He presents to the viewer a transposition of ‘image-quotes’ that function as a system of signs, addressing an entire culture – psychological, social and historical, its multiplicity of thought processes and its eclectic relocations. His work is augmented by a conscious understanding of contemporary pluralistic culture, investigating into the thematics of memory, denoting a variety of reference points, and crisscrossing disciplines, including literature and design, and time periods.
