A well-known scholar and author of books on art and theatre, Dnyaneshwar Nadkarni is an art critic and cultural columnist. He is also a member of the Lalit Kala Akademi. Gieve Patel is a gifted painter, scholar, art critic, poet and playwright.

Both speakers will discuss the genesis, styles and contribution of The Progressive Group to the field of Indian Art.
