Produced by Aseema and directed by Animagic, Raju & I is a 30 minute long animation film that examines the problems of disadvantaged children, from the point of view of a 12 year old child. The film focuses on the rights of the child mainly right to education and speaks of how each one of us can do our bit. Its animated characters, sensitive approach and strong message have made the film appealing to people of all ages and have also invited much accolade. In 2005, the film won the National Award for the Best Animation Film. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.
