Traversing beyond categorizations, the collaborative projects undertaken by urban artists have opened up new trajectories of art making. In the course of this discussion, Navjot Altaf will take a look at some of her own site-specific installations created in collaboration with Adivasi artists in Kondagaon village, Bastar district, Chhattisgarh. Erected around public water installations, these works raise critical questions about the necessary involvement of art initiatives in public service causes.
